Beet Sugar, Rice Sugar, Evaporated Cane Sugar… Is It Any Better Than Normal Sugar?

A lot of products claim to be healthier because they containĀ beet sugar, or rice sugar or evaporated cane sugar.

But these sugars aren’t better than normal sugar. It’s not natural sugar like the kind of sugar you find in fruits, which is high in vitamins and minerals.

So beet sugar and rice sugar and evaporated cane sugar are more about marketing a product as healthy to you, rather than actually being healthy. I personally choose to “punish” these manufacturers by not buying their products. Why would I want to put money in someone’s pocket when they try to mislead me in something as crucial as my health?
